A gaming blogger known as Surfer Girl has dropped the news that Luxoflux, maker of Vigilante 8 and True Crime: Streets of LA, is developing the multi-platform video game for the Transformers movie sequel. The blog entry was first reported by the Dutch gaming site Gamed.nl. In her entry, Surfer Girl also calls the Transformers sequel an "avant-garde indie film, based on 'Still Life with Woodpecker' by Tom Robbins," so we'll keep you posted as to whether the rumor pans out or if this is just a kooky sense of humor in action.
Thanks to an article by Next-gen.biz, TFW2005 has learned that only covering sales figures from North American and Western Europe alone, Transformers: The Game has sold over 3.3 Million copies. This includes each console that it was released on, but doesn't even include Australia or the Asian markets, so the TF:TG was apparently quite successful.
